DAY 01: Tour to AlexandriaWe will depart for Alexandria, known as the “Bride of the Mediterranean” and famous for its rich history, vibrant culture, and charming coastal atmosphere. Our first stop will be the enigmatic Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, an impressive Greco-Roman funerary complex considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. We will then continue to the impressive Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, we will visit the majestic Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern cultural landmark of international renown that pays tribute to the great ancient library. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to Cairo for overnight accommodation. Meals included: lunch.
