9 Days: Egypt – Cairo with Nile Cruise

DAY 1: CAIRO / ArrivalWelcome to Egypt! Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist you with the visa process. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel in a comfortable vehicle. Relax and get ready to start your adventure in this land of wonders.
DAY 2: CAIRO (Giza Pyramids & the Grand New Museum)Breakfast at the hotel. Scheduled visit to the Giza Plateau, including the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinos, and the Sphinx. We will begin with the three Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then continue to visit the Grand New Museum. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.
DAY 3: NILE CRUISE (FULL BOARD)Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. Arrival at Aswan International Airport and visit to the Philae Temple. Transfer to the cruise ship. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, a felucca ride on the river. Dinner and overnight on board. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY 4: NILE CRUISE (FULL BOARD)Breakfast and departure for the excursion to the Abu Simbel Temples. In the afternoon, sailing to Kom Ombo and visit to the Kom Ombo Temple, the only temple dedicated to two deities: the god Sobek with a crocodile head and the god Haroeris with a falcon head. Sailing to Edfu. Overnight on board. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY 5: NILE CRUISE (FULL BOARD)Breakfast. Arrival in Edfu and visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the god Horus. Sailing to Esna. We will cross the Esna Lock and continue sailing toward Luxor. Overnight on board. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY 6: NILE CRUISE (FULL BOARD)Breakfast and disembarkation. Visit to the East Bank of Luxor: Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. Visit to the West Bank of Luxor: the Theban Necropolis, the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor domestic airport for the flight to Cairo. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay. Meals included: Breakfast.
DAY 7: The Citadel, Coptic Quarter & Khan El Khalili BazaarBreakfast. Start the day with a visit to the Citadel, followed by the Coptic Quarter and the Khan El Khalili market. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.
DAY 8: Alex TourAfter breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Alexandria, known as the Bride of the Mediterranean and famous for its history, culture, and coastal charm. Our first stop will be the mysterious Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a Greco-Roman funerary complex considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. We will then continue to the impressive Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century on the remains of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, we will visit the modern and majestic Library of Alexandria, the successor to the great ancient library and a cultural center of international renown. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to Cairo for overnight accommodation. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.
DAY 9: Final DepartureTransfer to the airport to take the flight back to your country. Meals included: Breakfast.
